Now Hiring: Level 1 School Age Gymnastics Coach Roots Gymnastics – Missoula, MT We are growing and excited to bring more excellent people onto our coaching team! Roots Gymnastics is currently looking for Level 1 School Age Gymnastics Coaches who love working with children and want to make a positive impact through movement, learning, and fun. Position Details: • Location: Missoula, MT • Job Type: Part-Time • Hours: Approximately 5–10 hours per week • Shifts Available: Afternoons & early evenings (Tuesday & Thursday availability preferred) • Pay: $14–$25/hour (Depending on Experience) About Us: At Roots Gymnastics, we believe gymnastics is about so much more than skills. What We’re Looking For: We’re seeking coaches who are: • Warm & Enthusiastic – Genuinely enjoy working with children and creating a positive environment with excitement in every class • Reliable & Professional – Show up prepared, on time, and ready to lead • Good Communicator – Open to feedback and eager to grow as an instructor • Safety-Focused – Prioritize proper technique, spotting, and class management Your Responsibilities: • Lead Level 1 School Age gymnastics classes with structure, and positivity • Teach basic gymnastics skills using age-appropriate progressions and drills • Create a fun, encouraging atmosphere where every child feels successful • Manage class flow, transitions, and behavior in a positive, respectful way • Communicate clearly with students, parents, and fellow staff • Follow Roots Gymnastics’ curriculum, policies, and safety standards • Assist with set-up, equipment use, and clean-up as needed Requirements: • Enjoy working with children and creating meaningful connections • Ability to manage groups of school-age kids in an active environment • Strong communication and classroom management skills • Willingness to learn Roots’ teaching methods and curriculum • Dependable and team-oriented Bonus Skills & Experience (Not Required, But a Plus!): • Gymnastics, dance, cheer, or athletic background • Previous experience coaching or teaching children • CPR/First Aid certification Perks & Benefits: • Consistent weekly schedule • Competitive pay based on experience • Supportive training and mentorship • Opportunity to grow within the coaching team • Fun, positive work environment • Employee discounts on classes/programs How to Apply: Interested in joining our team?
